Taman Nasional mempunyai tujuan utama untuk pemanfaatan dibidang penyediaan tempat Wisata Alam. Hutan lindung merupakan juga kawasan hutan yang disisihkan dengan tujuan utama untuk perlindungan tata air,agar keberadaan sistem penyediaan air dapat berlangsung terus menerus.pelestarian alam dapat Dilihat dari beberapa tujuan kawasan konservasi dan kawasan hutan, jelaslah bahwa Taman Nasional dapat menampung semua tujuan baik pengawetan, pemeliharaan
